This is the famous & desirable US Navy Standard Diving Knife used in conjunction with the Mark V diving helmet. During World War 2, several companies were contracted to make these knives. Many companies did not apply their name, as is the case here. 
 
This example retains the original heavy brass sheath. There are signs of use and age on both sides of the blade. The blade is still sharp, and all the teeth are intact. The wood handle as a nice patina. There is a crack in the wood along one side. The blade and handle are solid with no wiggle. This knife has some honest character that, in our opinion, adds to its visual appeal.
