This is an impressive vintage ship's plaque from the USS Current, ARS 22. This US Navy Diver Class vessel served from 1944 until the early 1970s. Made of cast aluminum, this piece measures approximately 12” in width. The classic image of a diving helmet in the center really gives this piece a special look. Not many pieces survived this WWII ship!
