This is the classic United States Navy divers knife, commonly used in conjunction with the Mark V helmet. This example was made by Diving Equipment & Supply Company, aka DESCO. The brass sheath is stamped DESCO on the belt loop. All aspects of this knife are in like new condition, the blade shines with with only minimal signs of handling and age. The wood handle and brass hardware are in wonderful condition.
