This is a seldom-seen knife made for the German Navy, aka Bundeswehr divers knife. The stainless steel blade with one sharp edge, brass handle, and brass hardware are all present. At the base of the blade is a stamped mark that resembles an 8 with a line through it. The brass base of the handle has BM 163 stamped into it. The blade measures 7.625” long. The overall length of the knife in the sheath is 13.5”. The overall weight is 3 pounds and 14 ounces. The brass hardware and stainless steel blade are both in excellent condition.
