A vintage circa 1952 original DESCO catalog in the double 3 ring (6 ring) embossed leatherette binder featuring a USN Mark V helmet on the cover and spine. The best looking of all the various DESCO catalogs, the binder is mint condition with no fading, scratches, or stains. The pages are like new. Includes all the period helmets, rebreathers, masks, dresses, boots, and USN standard diving equipment plus all the commercial gear and spares. It contains an 8 - page price list that is noted as being December 1955. A sticker on the inside front cover notes the catalog belonged to a “MoMM2c, USN Class 5-2, U.S. Navy Yard “Y” Deep Sea Diving School, Washington, D.C.” An excellent example of this very collectible catalog.
